From Monday 27 August to Monday 17 September, Marena Seeling will show a wall shape at Arti et Amicitiae, Amsterdam. This on occasion of the De Schouw, an initiative of curators Harald Schole and Wilma Laarakker.
“The wall shapes of Marena Seeling are related to her paintings. Shapes of her canvases are transferred to panels, cut out and painted. Freed from the strict boundaries of the painting frame, she uses the wall shapes to create her own idiom.”
