Explorer/ Hidden Landscape 2016
A different way of looking helps to identify new opportunities in the countryside. Therefore it is necessary to investigate ‘layers’ from the past in the landscape and to add new stories that will give future significance to the area.
Hidden Landscape (Verborgen Landschap), an organization which operates at the cross-over of fine arts, landscape and cultural heritage, each year invites artists to become Explorer in the Hidden Landscape. With their findings they add new layers of information to the landscape, on which future artists and landscape architects will be able to build.
My explorations in the hidden landscape are described in the cahier Ruimte harken.
